In addition to Photomultiplier Tube (PMT) assemblies, scintillation detectors can also utilize SiPM (Silicon Photomultiplier) assemblies. SiPMs are solid-state devices that can be used as an alternative to PMTs for light detection in scintillation detectors.

Similar to PMT assemblies, we offer various kinds of options on the scintillation materials, such as GAGG(Ce), NaI(Tl), LaBr3(Ce), CeBr3, CsI(Tl/Na), BGO and plastic scintillator, etc, depend on actual requirement from customers. The scintillator absorbs ionizing radiation and emits light photons in response. The emitted photons are guided towards the SiPM directly, or assembly using a light guide, which is a transparent material with high light transmittance. The light guide ensures efficient light collection and directs the photons to the SiPM pixels for detection.
